No dossier on Trump, says Putin

U.S. President Donald Trump speaks with Russian President Vladimir Putin during a press conference after their meeting at the Presidential Palace in Helsinki Finland Monday

After face-to-face talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin, Mr Trump contradicted United States intelligence agencies and said there had been no reason for Russia to meddle in the vote.

Russian President Vladimir Putin and his trademark macho posture converged with President Donald Trump and his classic power stance as the leaders met on the world stage in Finland.

"The Russians are not our friends, I've said that repeatedly and I'll say it again today", Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell told reporters on his way into the Senate chamber on Monday afternoon, adding that he has "complete confidence in our intelligence community". "For us, it's a closed question", he said.

Flake apparently was referring to Trump's response when asked who was at fault for the decline in relations between the the USA and Russian Federation. He added: "I don't see any reason why they [the Russians] would have done it".

"When he had the opportunity to defend our intelligence agencies who work for him, I was very disappointed and saddened with the equivalency that he gave between them and what Putin was saying", Mr Corker said.

Fox Business echoed Hume's comments.

Yet Coats, a former senator from IN, is Trump's own nominee: He was tapped by the president past year to serve as director of national intelligence. "This answer by President Trump will be seen by Russian Federation as a sign of weakness and create far more problems than it solves", Graham said on Twitter.

Four-mile-long iceberg breaks off from Greenland glacier
In June 2017, an quake caused a tsunami near Nuugaatsiaq village that killed four people and swept away 11 homes. For now, the residents of Innaarsuit are watching the weather. "There's only one swimming pool in Greenland.

"[Director of National Intelligence], Dan Coats came to me and some others". Lemire asked Trump whether he agreed with the nation's intelligence community, which has concluded Russian Federation interfered in the 2016 elections, or Putin, who has repeatedly denied it. Lemire also asked whether Trump would denounce election meddling and warn Putin not to do it again, and asked Putin whether Russian Federation had gathered incriminating material on the American president. Fox will have a key role in the leaders' attempt to spin the summit, since Trump is being interviewed by both Sean Hannity and Tucker Carlson on Monday night, and Putin has sat down with Chris Wallace. Trump was an advocate for the U.S. World Cup bid.

"It is clear Russia's intentions", he said.

Trump had congratulated his opposite number on Russia's successful hosting of the competition, which came to a climax on Sunday a day before the Helsinki summit.

Even in the wake of Friday's indictments, the 59 percent who say in the HuffPost/YouGov poll that it's probably or definitely true that Russian Federation hacked Democrats' emails to help Trump's election chances is basically unmoved from the 57 percent who said so last December.

The taller Trump leaned forward in his chair, his forearms resting on his thighs and his hands connected by his fingertips as he appeared alongside with Russia's leader.

"Putin has demonstrated that Russian Federation is not isolated, without making any concessions", said Maria Lipman, editor-in-chief of the journal Counterpoint and a veteran commentator on Russian Federation. During the 2016 presidential campaign, he repeatedly bashed then-candidate Trump as an embarrassment to the party. "I hope so. I've been saying it, and I'm sure you've heard over the years, and as I campaigned, that getting along with Russian Federation is good thing, not a bad thing", he said. Contrast the 78 percent of Hillary Clinton voters who view the matter as a legitimate issue with the 59 percent of Trump voters who say outright that it's not (22 percent of Trump voters also think it's legitimate, while another 19 percent say they're not sure).
